Accessibility: Active & In Progress

Fours Media, LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards. This statement describes the current accessibility status of our website at foursmedia.com.

Our Commitment

We believe the web should be accessible to everyone. We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA — the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including users who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, and other assistive technologies.

We view accessibility as an ongoing practice, not a one-time project. We are actively reviewing our website and making improvements on a rolling basis.

What We’ve Done

We have taken the following steps toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance:

  • Added descriptive alt text to all meaningful images throughout the site
  • Implemented proper <label> elements for all form inputs
  • Added visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • Used semantic HTML landmarks (main, nav, footer, h1h3) to support screen reader navigation
  • Added skip-to-content links so keyboard users can bypass repeated navigation
  • Ensured sufficient color contrast ratios on body text and UI elements (minimum 4.5:1)
  • Added aria-label, aria-required, and aria-live attributes to interactive components
  • Ensured all interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard alone
  • Used fieldset and legend elements to group related form controls

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas where we are actively working to improve accessibility:

  • Video captions — Some videos on our site do not yet have closed captions. We are in the process of adding caption tracks to all video content. If you need a captioned version of any video, please contact us and we will provide one.
  • Third-party content — Embedded content from third-party platforms (such as social media feeds, Google Maps, or ad management tools) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We do not control the accessibility of third-party platforms but encourage their providers to improve accessibility.
  • Older content — Some older pages and blog posts may not yet fully meet our accessibility standards. We are reviewing and updating this content on a rolling basis.
  • Gradient text — Certain decorative headline treatments use CSS gradient styling. These elements include plain-text fallbacks to ensure readability for users on older browsers or assistive technologies.

Assistive Technologies We Support

Our website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers — including JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), and TalkBack (Android)
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
  • High contrast display modes
  • Voice control software including Dragon NaturallySpeaking

Technical Specifications

Our website relies on the following technologies for conformance with WCAG 2.1:

  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • JavaScript (ES5, non-reliant — core content is accessible without JavaScript enabled)
  • WAI-ARIA 1.1

Our website has been tested with Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on both desktop and mobile devices. We test with VoiceOver on macOS and iOS as part of our accessibility review process.
